The kittens
Opelousa's cattery has two, maximum three litters per year; the babies grow up with us in our bedroom with a lot of human contact and love. The kittens do not leave our home before they reach four months of age, when they attain sufficient physical strength and the mental development needed to prepare them for a new home.
Our kittens come in ruddy and red, we also have black-silver and red-silver. All cats and kittens live indoors. Although we know that some outdoor cats can live long lives, most do not. This cannot happen to any of Opelousa's kittens as we have never sold any of our kittens to any outdoor-prone household. We have invested too much time, effort and affection in our wonderful kittens to dare exposing them to an uncertain and risky environment.
