One of the most important aspect of Opelousa's Abyssinians is that they're fed mostly a natural home-made diet. We strongly believe that the right nutrition is the key for our cats' happy, vigorous and healthy life! Solid genetic roots certainly are an important factor for successful breeding, but environmental pollution and other factors can also play a significant role in the development of disease. This is one of the reasons why we no longer feed our cats commercial food alone. The cats are fed fresh meat, organ meat, raw meaty bones, vegetables, herbs, fish, eggs and other natural foods, which are combined with the right supplements to build a natural, complete, and balanced diet.
